Wednesdays Dec.3,10 &17 from 7pm-9pm
This 3 week class is focused on learning multiple techniques for soft pastels from blending to achieving vibrant details. Create a stunning landscape and build skills and confidence for this gorgeous and under-appreciated medium.
Instructor: Petra Bockus
You will provide your own supplies. This allows you to practice and work on your projects at home with the right tools and materials.

Graphite pencil set (4H, 2H, HB, 2B, 4B, 6B)
White eraser and kneaded eraser
Compressed charcoals or conte, black (hard to soft)
Small bottle of permanent black (india ink)
Set of chalk pastels (12-24). Recommend NuPastel or Faber-Castel
1 pad multimedia paper (8×10 or larger) in white/grey/black
1 board (to tape your paper down too. It can be a Canvas board (11x14) from the dollar store/art store or a masonite/mdf board from the hardware store . As long as it’s bigger than your paper size.)
