This is an 8 week (In studio) course.
Ink Mastery —
Dates: Tuesdays, January 13th – March 3rd
Time: 7:00–9:00 PM
Unlock the expressive power of permanent ink in this dynamic and inspiring course. Through a mix of washes, pen work, and mark-making techniques, students will explore everything from foundational skills to intricate, detailed approaches. We’ll create a wide variety of bold black-and-white artworks while learning how to control ink, build contrast, and develop confident line work.
Suitable for all levels, though previous art experience is recommended.
Supply List:
Pencil (2H or HB) and white eraser
Bottle of black India ink
Watercolour or multimedia round brushes (sizes 5 and 8)
Black fine-tip pens (Micron recommended) in sizes 0.3, 0.5, and 1.0
Pad of multimedia paper (8x10 or larger)
Board to tape artwork on, and art or painter’s tape
Small water container
