Adult Watercolour Class: Refining Technique & Adding Depth
This class is perfect for those looking to refine their watercolour skills (or start their art journey) and take their work to the next level. We’ll focus on building more detailed, realistic paintings through layering and glazing techniques, helping you create depth, subtle transitions, and stronger compositions.
From monochromatic studies to still life and reflections, you'll explore a variety of subjects while learning how to control water and pigment more confidently. We'll also introduce some loose, expressive techniques along the way to keep the process painterly and fresh. It’s a fun, relaxed class with an emphasis on developing precision and a deeper understanding of the watercolour medium.
* We unfortunately cannot offer make up classes for a missed class
*taxes not included
You will provide your own supplies. This allows you to practice and work on your projects at home with the right tools and materials.
Supply List
There are usually 2 standard types of watercolour paints, pan colours and tubes. We would prefer you buy the tubes if you can. It’s easier to apply.

Yellow Ochre
Cadmium Red Medium (a must have)
Alizarin Crimson
Permanent Rose
French Ultramarine Blue ( a must have)

Masking fluid (also called Frisket, drawing gum.. )

MDF board or flat board to tape your paper to. (Any hard surface, a canvas board is a perfect option as well)
