Summer Camp- Journaling Journey- August 31st-September 4th 9am-4pm
Summer Art Camp: Journaling Journey
August 31 – September 4 | 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Ages: 8–15 years
Instructor: Petra Bockus
Journaling Journey is a deeply creative week centered on self-expression, storytelling, and making an art book you’ll cherish forever. Campers will begin by handcrafting their own journal, learning bookmaking techniques before transforming it into a personal space filled with memories, imagination, and meaning.
Throughout the week, students will explore a wide range of artistic approaches including painting, drawing, inks, abstract design, and collage. Each page becomes an opportunity to experiment, reflect, and express ideas visually—whether playful, thoughtful, or wonderfully mysterious.
This camp encourages young artists to explore who they are, how they see the world, and how art can be used as a powerful tool for expression. It’s a supportive and inspiring environment where creativity, individuality, and curiosity are celebrated.
Perfect for kids and teens who love art with meaning, storytelling through images, and creating something truly personal.
