Looking for a place where kids can unwind, get creative, and hang out with friends? Welcome to The Art Hang! This isn't your typical art class — it's an afternoon of creativity, connection, and good vibes in a relaxed, welcoming studio environment.
Bring along an art project you're already working on, or come with a fresh idea and create something new! We'll have different creative stations set up with a variety of materials and activities to explore. Whether you feel like painting, drawing, crafting, experimenting, or simply chatting while you create, there's room for everyone.
This is a non-instructional open studio, so there's no formal lesson or step-by-step project to follow. However, guidance and a helping hand will be available if you need a little inspiration or get stuck along the way.
Our goal is to provide a safe, positive space where kids can be themselves, socialize, make new friends, and enjoy the simple fun of making art together.
And parents, it's a great opportunity to enjoy a little time to yourself or get some holiday shopping done while the kids enjoy their own creative afternoon!
Come for a little or stay for the whole hang. No pressure, no expectations — just creativity, friends, and fun!
Other Important Details:
Please pack an extra snack for your child, if they come straight from school as they may need to refuel before class
During wet/muddy weather we ask that you send a pair of dry shoes or slippers with your child, we do allow students to go in socks too… but smelly feet in a small space can get unpleasant.
Water bottle! Always good to stay hydrated :D
We provide aprons to help keep mess off clothes, but sometimes things happen. On days your child attends we recommend sending them in clothes you’re ok getting a wee bit of paint, glitter or whatever else on.
*Please note we only give partial refunds back in the event of emergencies only. This excludes sick days or no shows. Due to the nature of the business we require at least 2 weeks notice for cancellations. No refunds will be given if the above is not met. Due to limited spaces and courses we cannot offer make up classes.
