Acrylic Animal Impressions: A 3-Hour Mixed Media Workshop
Get ready to unleash your creativity in this fun and expressive 3-hour acrylic painting workshop! Perfect for beginners and art lovers of all levels, this hands-on session combines texture, colour, and imagination in a unique and playful way.
We’ll start by exploring background creation using unexpected tools and everyday objects—think rags, toy cars, bubble wrap, yarn and more—to press, stamp, and roll vibrant patterns onto your canvas. These textures will set the stage for your artwork and bring an exciting, dynamic base to life.
Once your abstract background is complete and dry, we’ll transition to the main focus: painting a bold, stylized animal of your choice (like a lion, owl, bear, or any creature that inspires you) on top of your colorful creation. You’ll learn basic acrylic techniques for layering, shading, and bringing your subject to life.
This workshop is all about freedom, experimentation, and expression—no experience needed, just a willingness to play with paint and have fun!
All materials provided. Just bring your imagination!
