Autumn Artist Retreat Sept 19-22, 2025 at Wee Point Resort on Picturesque Manitoulin Island.
We are happy to offer a 2 day workshops with artist/instructor Julie Glaude during this year’s artist retreat. In order to make this the best experience we are offering you the ability to customize your stay at Weepoint by choosing however many nights you wish to stay.

Join Julie Glaude at Wee Point Resort for a rejuvenating weekend art retreat celebrating the beauty of fall! This immersive experience will allow you to explore mixed media techniques using nature’s treasures as your canvas. Throughout the retreat, we’ll gather a variety of found objects—from vibrant autumn leaves to textured branches—to infuse into your artwork, giving your fall-inspired pieces that extra pop of life and texture.
You’ll also dive into the world of printmaking, using natural materials to create stunning, abstract fall-themed prints. Whether you’re an experienced artist or just starting out, this weekend will spark your creativity and provide a peaceful environment to deepen your connection with nature and art.
Come celebrate the colours, textures, and moods of fall while creating one-of-a-kind pieces!
Arrival Friday- Meet and greet get together at the lodge 7:00 pm.
Saturday- Start time 9:00 am- Collage & Print Making - meet at the lodge. Break for lunch from 12:00-1:00 pm Lunch provided. Afternoon field trip. Fire Gathering- 7:30 pm
Sunday- Start time 9:00 am- Collage & Print Making- meet at the lodge. Break for lunch from 12:00-1:00 pm (lunch provided) resume - 1:00-4:00. Fire Gathering- 7:30 pm
Monday- Home Day for some. People staying may enjoy a day relaxing, painting, or sightseeing.
Tuesday-Saturday- depending on whoever stays longer we will discuss ideas of places to see together and plans to paint together.
Lunch is provided on Saturday and Sunday. If you have any allergies or food issues, we will ask you to please prepare your own lunch. Lunch will consist of assorted sandwiches, salads, cheese, pickle and veggies. Assorted beverages will be available each day of instruction.
All the cottages have fully equipped kitchens and participants will be responsible for their own meals not covered in the schedule. The resort offers canoes, paddleboat and kayaks which will be available to participants at no additional cost. We also offer 3 aluminum motorboats for rent per hour or per day. Gas extra. Lifejackets provided.
Most participants will be sharing a cottage with other participants. If you are coming to the retreat with a friend/s we will work to have you in the same cottage. if you have more friends that wish to be in the same cottage all of the cottages below have more sleeping availability than listed, in the sitting room. You are welcome to bring family members who will not be participating in the classes but as space is limited your cost will be determined by how may spots are taken in the cottage chosen. We have 1 cottages that is suitable for a single person who does not want shared accommodations or a couple that has 1 participating person.
We have the following accommodations available.
ranging from $75/night to $125/night depending on the cottage or if you are sharing a cottage. Please call Wee point for any additional information or to book your space
